Bible of Perly & Mary Putnam
Transcription & Webpage by Cliff Lamere 12 Mar 2008
The 1837 bible of Perly and Mary Putnam was sold 8 Mar 2008 on eBay for $23.50. It was part of an estate sale. At the time of shipping, the bible was located at Hudson, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. It appears to have been bought by a reseller, because the buyer also has a sales account with eBay.
According to Ed M. Putnam III of Connecticut, "Perley & Mary (Cole) lived their whole lives in New Hampshire."

Photos of the Bible - Some of these 21 photos were used for the eBay auction. The seller then made closer views at my request so that they could be used in this webpage to benefit Putnam researchers. Some of the requested photos were very large close-ups that may shrink to fit your screen. On my older PC computer, when I put the cursor onto the photo an icon appears at the lower right of the photo. It will allow the photo to be enlarged. I use an asterisk (*) below to show you which of the photos are the huge ones. Below, the letter "C" is used as an abbreviation for Column.
